appliqued tees and bibs, bum covers, lounge pants, kerchief bibs, and buckets of bibs and burps. it doesn’t get much cooler than these. we are loving the prints for boys! made of high quality, sustainable materials.

oeuf’s perch bunk bed is a huge hit with boys and girls and we thought it would be fun to show it both ways:

a cluster of poufs for the girls (we carry a book called crafting with kids with instructions on how to make them) and retro-inspired soccer prints for the boys (would be fun to find retro prints of their favorite players).

for the bedding we used utility canvas in a patterned quilt for her and a solid, bright green for boy. shams coordinate to tie things together.

“my life rocks” diary and tin tin erector set add a little personality to the space.

flor fuzzy button rugs in sky can be added for a pop of color, as well as a poppy orange modernica rocker for reading!

leaving a literary legacy: maurice sendak

this week award-winning children’s book author maurice sendak passed away, leaving behind quite the legacy. best known for where the wild things are, sendak made a career out of writing and illustrating children’s stories with dark undertones and often haunting characters that captured the hearts of millions. we hold a big soft spot for mr. sendak and are proud to carry his books. we look forward to many more generations enjoying his work.

uncle goose language blocks

some of our favorite gifts to suggest are these language blocks from uncle goose. so often people give them to little ones of friends that speak another language or have a language that is meaningful to them (they spent a summer in france, they grew up in italy). they make such wonderful heirloom treasures to pass down from generation to generation. the blocks are handmade in the usa and we happen to think the classic upper and lowercase make a perfect gift for any child.
